Yannis (Ioannis) Panaretos
Secondary-school student in Corfu, Greece (born 2012), focused on mathematics, physics and computer science. Entering the final year of Gymnasio (equivalent to UK Year 10) in September 2026. Aiming for university studies in the sciences in the UK or US.
I am a 14-year-old student from Corfu, Greece, and my dream is to study in the US or the UK. I haven’t settled on a single field yet — it will be something in STEM, physics, mathematics or computer science — and for now I’m deliberately keeping every door open, so that when I do choose, it will be a real choice. I take part in competitions not to win and not to conquer, but to see how far my thinking can go, and to meet people who are chasing the same questions I am.
